As part of our Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme (LCVP), students from Gairmscoil Mhic Diarmada had the unique opportunity to visit Donegal Seaweed, a thriving local business based in Dungloe. The trip offered invaluable insights into sustainable practices, product development, and the vital role of local enterprise in supporting the community.
Students were inspired by the company's innovative use of natural resources to create high-quality products while maintaining a strong commitment to environmental sustainability. This hands-on experience was an excellent addition to the LCVP portfolio, showcasing the importance of linking education with real-world businesses.
